Power for QLD Family in Need

The aftermath of Cyclone Debbie continued to cause destruction in SEQ, as floodwaters wreaked havoc on homes in South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. With mass power outages and families in need of power, Bainbridge Technologies reached out to GIVIT, a national not-for-profit organisation, who provide assistance and donations to Queenslanders during natural disasters.

Baintech Black Out BusterWorking in conjunction with GIVIT, Bainbridge Technologies have loaned a Baintech Black
Out Buster (B.O.B) to a Luscombe based family who suffered power outage due to extreme flooding. Providing emergency power for 6 to 12 hours using a rechargeable battery storage system, the B.O.B (Black Out Buster) helps to power essential items when the power goes down.

Two months on from Cyclone Debbie, the family who received the B.O.B are still without mains power. GIVIT Operations General Manager, Marcus Engeman, said They still don’t have power on at the house, so the B.O.B is saving them a lot of money in terms of fuel costs for the generator, enabling them to run their essential household items like the fridge continuously and also enjoy the quiet from no generator noise at night while they are trying to sleep.”
